
Roy Walker
Roy Walker joined the freight industry in 1984 and worked at several leading freight companies, before starting Sandford Freight UK Limited in 1998. Roy has been in the industry over 35 years and brings a wealth of experience to the company. His leadership and expertise are vital to the successful running of the organisation.
Roy was awarded a Diploma for Principles and Practices in Processing Freight by the International Air Transport Association in December 1987. More recently, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Freight Professionals. He served as a board member for eight years with The Freight Club, a non- profit, member driven organisation that was established by private and independent freight forwarding companies. He travels the globe extensively, regularly visiting overseas agents and attending international freight networking conferences.Roy also frequently travels the UK visiting our clients and prospects.
Roy is married with two children, who both work within the company. Roy is a keen sportsman, enjoying squash, golf, running and cycling to and from work. Roy is also a season ticket holder for Fulham Football Club and attends all games he can.

Claire Lewis
Claire has been working within the freight industry since 1991 and started working with Roy back in 1994 in an operational capacity. Claire moved with Roy in 1998 when he started Sandford Freight. Claire was the company’s first employee, working in operations and admin.
Claire has an extensive knowledge of all company matters and most aspects of freight. Claire’s primary role is finance and admin manager, but also deals with HR and can assist any operational needs for the company.
Claire has 3 grown-up children and became a Nana in Summer 2020 to her Granddaughter Belle-Rose. Claire loves spending time with her family and friends.

Paul Harraden
Paul Harraden joined the freight industry straight from college & has over 30 years’ experience, working for several freight forwarders on their export, import & road departments, he also has experience in the courier industry. Paul joined Sandford back in February 2015, as the Operations Manager, he is also the Security and AEO Manager, qualified in handing dangerous goods and fully prepared for Brexit. Paul ensures that Sandford Freight is a well-oiled machine where nothing is too much trouble and will go to extreme lengths to satisfy our Customers’ needs
Paul is married with two Children and enjoys family days out, cycling, motorcycling & swimming.

Daniel Walker
Daniel Walker is the son of our owner Roy Walker. Daniel joined the company in 2013 at the age of 18 after taking his A-Levels at college.
Since 2013 Daniel has worked in all areas of the company, and now has a good knowledge and understanding of all departments. Daniel has also accompanied his father on UK and overseas business trips visiting clients and agents.
Daniel is responsible for project cargo at Sandford Freight. He has already successfully managed several on-site installations.
Daniel has successfully completed the BIFA BTEC Intermediate Award in Multi-modal International Freight Procedure and achieved a Distinction. Daniel currently holds a dangerous goods licence by air and is the companies registered first aider.
Away from work Daniel is an avid football fan being a supporter of his beloved Fulham. Daniel also enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family and girlfriend.

Our offices are conveniently located near Heathrow Airport
Sandford Freight UK’s office is located on a totally secure trading estate opposite Brinks UK Limited, with barriers and checkpoints on both entry and exit to the estate. Our offices are a 2 minute walk to Hatton Cross underground station (Picadilly line), 1 stop from the Heathrow Terminals and a maximum of 5 mins drive to all the various Heathrow Terminals.
